Meredith Stephens

Meredith Stephens is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator who brings a thoughtful and energetic approach to resolving disputes. She earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law.

Before dedicating her practice exclusively to mediation, Meredith spent 18 years as a civil trial attorney handling a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including premises liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, hotel liability, amusement and water park liability, wrongful death, automobile negligence, and products liability claims. Meredith has tried many cases to verdict as lead counsel and facilitated resolution in hundreds more through mediation and negotiation. She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been regularly recognized as a Best Lawyer in America and a Florida Super Lawyer.

Her years in the courtroom shaped Meredith’s approach. She understands not only the legal and factual issues at play, but also the pressures, risks, and human dynamics that drive decision-making. She has seen firsthand how quickly positions can harden—and how the right approach at the right time can create meaningful movement.
