William “Vito” Carcioppolo

William “Vito” Carcioppolo earned his jury trial experience in the dynamic civil justice system of South Florida. Vito’s experience spans four decades. During this time Vito handled countless disputes ranging to the highest levels of complexity and liability exposure. Vito has served as lead counsel in several complex jury trials where he developed a reputation for excellence and honesty in the profession. During Vito’s time as a trial lawyer, he was known by opposing counsel to be formidable but also reasonable. He now brings his decades of experience to the process of mediation. Vito understands how to support the process in a manner that allows all viewpoints to be heard and which encourages the parties to understand risk and reach resolution.

Vito’s career as a trial lawyer focused upon disputes related to health care providers. This concentration included regular and consistent handling of disputes involving medical malpractice, long term care, credentialing, licensing, administrative, billing disputes and many other matters related to the health care profession. He also has vast experience with general liability matters including personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, premises liability, negligent security, motor vehicle claims, insurance disputes and others. He has also been involved in insurance policy interpretation and coverage recommendations for clients. He has provided risk management guidance and supervision to clients and has been invited to lecture to healthcare professionals on medical/legal issues. Vito has been recognized as an AV rated trial lawyer underscoring his reputation for excellence as a trial practitioner as well as his exemplary approach to legal ethics. Vito is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
